Marie Cazin

Marie Cazin (née Guillet; 1845, Paimboeuf — 18 March 1924, Boulogne) was a French painter, sculptor, and decorative artist. She was the wife of Jean Charles Cazin.
==Life==
She was born Marie Guillet at Paimboeuf, Loire-Inférieure, and studied with Juliette Peyrol-Bonheur, and with Jean Charles Cazin,〔 whom she married in 1868.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.nationalgallery.org.uk/artists/marie-cazin )〕 She exhibited at the Royal Academy in London 1874 and 1878; at the Salon des Artistes Français between 1876 at 1889; at the Salon de la Société Nationale between 1890 and 1914, and with Les XX in Brussels in 1887. She was active only as a painter in the early part of her career, but exhibited sculptures from 1882.〔(【引用サイトリンク】publisher=Tate )
